To Love Again
A time in reverse, a time she forgot,
“Hello old friend”, she mutters in displeasure,
For the curse itself never tied the knot,
A ribbon’s voyage which led beyond seas.
The feeling emerged, in an instant she denies,
A mere phase, she’s convinced, a sole eclipse,
For her heart is fragile, with fear to try,
To sail again the waters of love's ships.
Daisy she was, has now become a rose,
Though her heart shall not change her ways of love,
If a rose withdraws her sharp thorns, thee she chose,
No need for another beyond the above,
With simple symphony of pure intent,
She shall rain heaven to the core’s content.
